PDF or ePub: Which one’s right for me?

With Bloom out in the world, we’ve had some questions about the two options for reading all that mutterhood goodness. Here’s a Q&A we put together about how to skim, savor and stash each issue.

Where do I find the magazine?

It all starts here. Since we publish exclusively online (for now, that is) our website is where you access the magazine. At the top of this page, the ‘magazine’ tab directs you to each issue. Just click on the one you want and you’re all set.

Wait, there’s two options. What’s the difference?

We offer an ePub version, which mimics reading an actual magazine (the pages turn!) and gives you the ability to search by page and topic. The PDF version is a scrollable file that displays two pages at a time but lacks the search function.

Which one should I choose?

It’s up to you! If you’re reading mutterhood on a phone or e-reader, we suggest the ePub version since it’s formatted for those devices. If you’re at a desktop computer or using a laptop, the PDF option will give you a fuller reading experience.

What if I want to save the magazine to read later?

Good news! You can download both the ePub and PDF files to your computer or e-reader, or you can save them to iBooks if you’re on an Apple device. Every issue is free, so download them all!

How will I know when the next issue comes out?

It’s easy! Just sign up for what’s the mutter, our weekly newsletter that arrives by email every Sunday. You’ll be the first to receive each new issue, plus lots of other fun content that you won’t find on our blog, website or social media. You can subscribe at the top of this page.
