Happy Left Handers Day!
Did you know: Lefties are more likely to excel at math, architecture, multitasking and spatial awareness, which may be why more lefties can boast of having IQs of 140 and above than their right-handed friends.
Other fun facts: Left-handers are more successful in sports. And mothers who give birth after the age of 40 are 128 percent more likely to have a left-handed son or daughter.
Speaking of women, only 11 percent of us are left-handed, so if you’re a leftie these are just a few of your southpaw sisters: Helen Keller, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Marie Curie, Lady Gaga, Tina Fey, Judy Garland, Oprah, Nicole Kidman, Diane Keaton, Celine Dion, and Goldie Hawn. Historians suspect that Joan of Arc was a leftie too.
The queens of left-handers? England’s Elizabeth and Victoria.
